Using the service requires Telegram. The channel’s tutorial says to register a new account on giffgaff.com, enter the six-digit activation code on the physical SIM, choose “pay as you go no monthly plan,” top up £10 with Visa or Mastercard, and wait for the signal to be established. It also provides guidance on Wi‑Fi Calling, overseas roaming, voicemail, and activation delays.

Users should note that giffgaff’s official Wi‑Fi Calling support is stated to be limited to the UK, while overseas roaming may involve SMS or activation delays. The channel states that giffgaff officially stopped mailing physical SIM cards to China on 31 October 2025. It also says that its giffgaff SIM/eSIM cards are for lawful personal communications, social networking, and app registration only, in compliance with local law and giffgaff’s official terms and conditions.
