Scripts are the starting point for most internal work. A single file of TypeScript, Python, Go, Bash or 20+ other languages becomes an API, a triggerable job and an auto-generated form, with no boilerplate in between.

Workflows are graphs (DAG) that represent the dependencies between steps. Run scripts and flows at a given frequency. Each Script and Flow created in Windmill gets autogenerated webhooks. Windmill automatically generates user interfaces (UIs) for scripts and flows based on their parameters.

The app editor is a low-code builder to create custom User Interfaces with a mix of drag-and-drop and code.
