Introduction
ChatbotX is an open-source agentic omnichannel chat-marketing platform positioned against ManyChat, Chatfuel, Wati, and Respond.io. It supports WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram, Telegram, Zalo, TikTok, email, and web chat, with visual flows, AI agents, an inbox, CRM, broadcasts, and API, CLI, and MCP interfaces.
It can run in the cloud or be self-hosted on a VPS with Docker Compose. The stack requires Node.js 24, PostgreSQL with pgvector, Redis, and object storage. Content under apps/builder/src/enterprise is commercially licensed; only content outside that boundary is covered by the root MIT terms.
