Open-source cross-platform LAN file transfer, an AirDrop alternative for all platforms
Our mirror passed antivirus scanning and SHA-256 verification, identical to the official releaseMirrors are served via seeksvc object storage + CDN; every package ships with a SHA-256 checksum (click the file name to copy). Mobile users can also install from App Store / F-Droid.
Introduction
LocalSend transfers files directly between devices over the local network, without relying on the internet or third-party servers, and transfers are encrypted via HTTPS. Its biggest advantage is cross-platform coverage: send photos from a phone to a computer, or files from a computer to a TV box, all with one app. Speed depends on your router rather than cloud-drive rate limits.
Built with Flutter, it has a clean interface with no ads. Note for use in China: some enterprise networks with AP isolation may prevent devices from discovering each other. You may need to open port 53317 or connect via “favorite devices + fixed IP”.
